IND vs AUS: India win the T20 series against Australia

India have defeated Australia to win the T20I series by 2-1. 9th consecutive bilateral series win for India under Rohit Sharma as a full time captain.

A streaky four results in an India win as they take the match and the series 2 games to 1.

After losing the first match, India have outplayed their opponents in both the match as Hardik Pandya, King Kohli and SKY help India chase down a huge total of 186 with 6 wickets in hand and 1 ball to spare.

Kohli was dismissed for 63 in the last over, with India needing 5 off 4 but Hardik Pandya made sure India lift the trophy come the end of the match.

Earlier, SKY smashed 69 off just 36 balls to help India win the match.

In the first innings, Tim David and Cameron Green, both hit half centuries to guide Australia to 186/7. Axar Patel was the star performer for India in bowling, picking up 3 crucial wickets.

With the series in balance after India’s 5 wicket win in the 16 over game at Nagpur, both teams will be looking to go all out for the final match of the series.
