ICC Women cricket FTP: ICC has announced the Women’s FTP (Future Tour Program) for the first time.

ICC Women cricket FTP: For the first time, the International Cricket Council has released the Future Tour Program (FTP) for women’s cricket. From 2022 to 2025, a total of 301 matches will be played in women’s cricket across the world in all three formats i.e. Test, ODI and T20. Under this FTP, 7 Tests, 135 ODIs and 159 T20s will be played between women’s cricket teams of different countries.

In the FTP prepared for women’s cricket, the schedule of international series has been released for all countries till the end of April 2025. In this, a future tour program has been prepared for the ICC Women’s World Cup to be held in India.

The highlight of the first FTP released for women’s cricket is the Ashes series in England’s tour of Australia in 2024-25. In this three-year period, the England women’s cricket team will play the maximum number of 5 Tests. After this Australia (4), South Africa (3) and India (2) will play Tests.

Indian women’s cricket will play 2 Tests, 24 ODIs and 36 T20s between August 2022 and January 2025 under the FTP of Women’s Cricket released for the first time. It is not included in comparison to T20 World Cup and other ICC events. India will play both the Tests in the country itself. One will be against England and the other against Australia.

In December this year, a series of 5 T20s will be played between India and Australia. The Indian women’s cricket team will play home series against New Zealand, South Africa, Ireland and West Indies in the ICC Women’s Championship till April 2025, while England, Australia, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will play their home series.
