Gautam Gambhir: I am not ashamed to say that yes I do commentary in IPL

Gautam Gambhir was often targeted for the fact that even after being an MP, he earns money by doing IPL or commentary.

Gautam Gambhir told in a press conference that the Jan Rasoi campaign he runs is his personal expenditure. In that he would not use the funds he got as an MP.

He added

It takes 25 lakh to feed 5000 people in month . 2.75 crores for the year. It took me Rs 25 lakh to build that library. These were not made out of MPLAD funds. No public kitchen for 5000 people from MPLAD fund.

Gautam Gambhir started the Jan Rasoi campaign as an MP. Here food is provided to the people for Re 1 only.

Gautam Gambhir also worked as a mentor with Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2022. Earlier he has also been seen doing hindi and English commentary in IPL and Team India matches.

Gautam Gambhir contested the Lok Sabha elections in the year 2019 and is a Lok Sabha MP from East Delhi
