1. Tim Southee Named Captain For The T20I Against India

New Zealand captain Kane Williamson will not be playing in the forthcoming three T20 Internationals against India beginning here on Wednesday as he wants to fully center on the two-Test series, which will begin in Kanpur from November 25. New Zealand’s bowler Tim Southee will lead the Black Caps in the first T20I, the New Zealand Cricket stated in its announcement. 

2. Hardik Pandya’s 5 Crores Worth Watches Seize At Airport

The customs officials have seized Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya’s two luxury watches at the airport upon his arrival in India from the UAE. The watches are reportedly worth five crores. The occurrence took place when the player arrived at Mumbai airport on the night of November 14. Later cricketer Hardik Pandya issued a statement on social media.

Two-time Olympic medallist PV Sindhu will drive her journey for a podium finish when she plans India’s hurdle at the Indonesia Masters Super 750 tournament but Saina Nehwal and Sameer Verma will be dropping in action after deciding to pull out of the tournament due to injuries.

4. KL Rahul Is Looking Forward To Work As A Vice-Captain Against New Zealand

Team India T20I deputy KL Rahul on Monday said being the vice-captain will bring an added responsibility for him, but he is looking forward to the challenge and working alongside head coach Rahul Dravid.

India and New Zealand will be facing off in a three-match T20I series, starting Wednesday in Jaipur. Rohit will be the captain of the side with Rahul acting as deputy.

5. Seven Host Cities Announced For 2022 T20 World Cup


 Australia’s seven cities will play host to the 2022 men’s T20 World Cup with the semi-finals to be held in Sydney and Adelaide ahead of the final at the MCG under lights on November 13.

The ICC announced on Tuesday that the 45 matches of the tournament will also be performed in Perth, Brisbane, Geelong, and Hobart for the 2022 event that begins on October 16, just 335 days after the 2021 World Cup was won by Australia in Dubai on Sunday.
