They got rid of Anuj Rawat, Faf Du Plessis and Virat Kohli with just 17 runs on the board.
David Willey and Sherfane Rutherford built a partnership and made sure they don’t lose more wickets. Shahbaz Ahmed scored a quickfire 27 that helped reduce the pressure.

Faf was very happy with DK’s efforts and heaped praised on him. He said “DK’s experience helped in the end, cool-calm, runs weren’t never really too far away. He’s probably as cool as MS Dhoni can get in the last five overs.”
“Very happy. Good win, obviously chasing small scores, you want to be positive and not leave it late, but it was good bowling from their seamers,” explained Faf du Plessis.
“Tonight there was seam and bounce, the first night it swung a bit more,” the RCB skipper said about the difference in the pitch over the two matches.
On Sunday, RCB’s bowling was not up to it’s best as Punjab King chased down 205. But, they learnt from that and bowled beautifully against KKR
“Two-three days ago, it was 200 v 200. Tonight it was 120 v 120, pretty good. In an ideal world, we would’ve liked to have won more convincingly but a win is a win,” told Faf du Plessis.
RCB now take on Rajasthan Royals on 5th April. It will be a very tough challenge as Rajasthan Royals showed how good they actually are against Sunrisers Hyderabad. They had a thumping win over SRH of 61 runs.
Devdutt Padikkal and Yuzvendra Chahal both, who used to play for RCB last season will play against them. It will be a mouthwatering clash when the two teams meet in a few days time.
