Dinesh Chandimal and Prabath Jayasuriya guide SL to a win
SL vs AUS: Dinesh Chandimal went onto score a dashing maiden test century, whereas Prabath Jayasuriya picked up 12 wickets in 2 innings to help Sri Lanka win.
After a humiliating defeat in the first test, Sri Lanka bounced back in style as Prabath Jayasuriya and Dinesh Chandimal star in the innings and 39 run win.
A crushing defeat for the visitors, to say the least. After failing to capitalise on a good start on day 1, SL managed to post a mammoth total of 554/10.

Dinesh Chandimal was the star, as he went on to stay not-out on 206 at the fall of the last wicket. Skipper Karunaratne and Kusal Mendis scored 86 and 85 respectively, while Kathmandu Mendis managed to score a test fifty on test debut.
Dinesh Chandimal smashed 42 runs off his last 18 balls, to reach the double-century mark, after the fall of the 9th Wicket! Australian bowlers were out of answers for the Sri Lankan star.
Earlier, Steve Smith and Labuschagne scored a century each but, it was the 2nd innings collapse that will haunt the Aussie players the most.
On a high scoring pitch, Jayasuriya picked up his 2nd 6-fer in the span of 3 days as the Aussies were all-out for meagre 151 runs.

Only 6 batsmen were able to reach double figure runs in what looked a sorry batting card for the Aussies.
For his outstanding innings, Dinesh Chandimal was named the player of the match as well as the player of the series. On the back of this win, Sri Lanka climb to the third spot in the World Test Championship table.
A big win for Sri Lanka ahead of the series against Pakistan. The 3 match test series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka begins on the 16th of July.
