Delhi In The Way To Produce An Other Captain

Delhi is in its full swing to produce another captain who will lead the Indian cricket under  19 team in the upcoming edition of the Junior Asia Cup 2021. The young player is following in the footsteps of several other successful leaders. The record of this player as an individual batsman is also pretty decent. Dhull was a leading run-getter in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy earlier this year. He averaged 75.50 for his 302 runs for the DDCA in the five matches that the team played during the tournament.

This is the list of players issued from the All-India Junior Selection Committee for the upcoming Junior Asia Cup, which is going to be held in the UAE. This young player has joined the elite club that has Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant as they also got the same honor. 

Yash Dhull who belongs from  Janak puri of New Delhi received great support from his family too. “I had to ensure he got the best kit and gear to play from an early age. I gave him the best of English willow bats. He didn’t have just one bat, I kept upgrading them. We had cut down on our expenses. My father was an army man. The pension that he received was used to run the household. Yash would always wonder how we were managing it,” said his father, who was very proud of his son’s achievement.
