Daniel Ricciardo has tested positive for Covid and expects to be fit for the start of the F1 season
In the month of March in Bahrain, Daniel Ricciardo of Australia will begin the Formula One season. Despite his positive COVID-19 test, his McLaren team expects he will be fit. After feeling unwell from Wednesday onwards in Bahrain, Daniel Ricciardo has now returned a positive PCR test for COVID-19, McLaren Racing has confirmed in a statement.
Daniel follows local regulations and thus continues to isolate. According to these rules, Daniel will be able to race next weekend.

After missing the first two days of pre-season testing in Bahrain, Ricciardo missed the third day earlier this week.
During Saturday’s final day of testing, Lando Norris will remain in the car with him.
