BYJU become official partners of the FIFA World Cup 2022
BYJU will represent India as a sponsor at the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar.
BYJU, an Indian ed-tech giant have become the official sponsors of the FIFA World Cup 2022. They are also the shirt sponsors of the Indian cricket team.
Byju was started in 2011 by Byju Raveendran and Divya Gokulnath.
Now, they’re a well settled company, that has started investing in the sports industry.
They struck a deal with BCCI in 2019. It was a 3 year deal which has been renewed till the end of World Cup 2023.
BYJU’s will pay 10% more to BCCI as they will remain the shirt sponsor.
Now, BYJU has partnered with FIFA and become the official sponsor of FIFA World Cup 2022.
“BYJU’S, through this partnership, will leverage its rights to the FIFA World Cup 2022 marks, emblem, and assets, and run unique promotions to connect with football fans around the world,” the company said in a statment.
The FIFA 2022 World Cup will start from November 21st and last till 18th December.
It will be a mid season World Cup as the players and clubs will have to manage playing around the prestigious event.

We’re delighted to be partnered with a company like BYJU’S, which is also engaging communities and empowering young people wherever they may be in the world,” Kay Madati, FIFA’s Chief Commercial Officer, said.
Byju Raveendran is very pleased with the deal with FIFA.
He said “It is a matter of pride for us to represent India on such a prestigious global stage and champion the integration of education and sport. Sport is a big part of life and brings together people across the world,”
