BCCI have announced prize money for the ground curators

Tata IPL 2022: BCCI Secretary Jay Shah tweeted that they appreciate the efforts of the ground curators during the IPL.

They will get a prize for the efforts throughout the IPL. A total of INR 1.25 crore is announced for the “Unsung heroes” of the IPL.

It really is a commendable effort from the curators in Mumbai and Pune, with the IPL holding 70 matches in just 4 stadiums.

The prize money has been distributed as follows.

• INR 25 Lakhs for each CCI curator and groundsmen for the venues of Wankhede, DY Patil, Brabourne and MCA Stadium.
• INR 12.5 Lakhs for the curators and groundsmen for Kolkata and Ahmedabad

This is not the first time BCCI has given such a reward.

This is one of the reasons BCCI is considered one of the topmost organizations in the sport of Cricket.
