Australia win the Benaud-Qadir trophy after winning 3rd Test

Australia made sure that there is no denying them the win by Pakistan batsmen.

Australia took 10 wickets on the last day to win the Test match and the series against Pakistan. Nathan Lyon was the star as he picked up 5/83 in his 37 overs.

No miraculous batting by Pakistan this time to deny Australia the win. Cameron Green struck early in the first session to remove Abdullah Shafique for 27.

Nathan Lyon scalped for Babar Azam, Imam-ul-Haq, Azhar Ali, Hassan Ali and Shaheen Afridi to cap off a memorable day.

Pat Cummins picked up 3/23 in 15.1 overs. He uprooted the stumps of Naseem Shah to help Australia to their 1st win in Pakistan in 24 years.

Just like the first innings of this test match, Pakistan succumbed to the second new ball.

They lose 5 wickets for meagre 65 runs as compared to the 5/54 in the first innings.
