Andrew McDonald is the new head coach of Australia
Cricket Australia on Wednesday revealed that Andrew McDonald will been named the new head coach of Australia.
Andrew McDonald has signed a 4 year contract with Cricket Australia. The 1st big challenge McDonald will face is defending T20 Champions title, later this year.

Andrew McDonald is a former Australian professional cricketer. He represented the Aussies in the yea 2008/9.

He was also the senior assistant coach under Justin Langer. Langer refused to sign an extension of his role as a coach. Mcdonald was pipped to be the successor.
Unfortunately, Australia also lost 2-1 in the ODI series against Pakistan.

“Andrew has already shown he is an outstanding head coach and the vision he outlined for the role during the appointment process was both impressive and exciting, making him our clear choice.“ Nick added.
The first challenge that Andrew Mcdonald will face is a series in Sri Lanka, starting 7th June.
