Anderson, Broad In England Squad For 2nd Test

Bowling incredible Jimmy Anderson spoke on Wednesday that he wants to play all four rest Ashes Tests after he and Stuart Broad were added in England’s 12-man team for the 2nd Test against Australia.

The two exceptional wicket-takers in England Test record, with 1,156 wickets between them, were left out for the series first test match at Brisbane, where they bashed by nine wickets in four days. But both are back in the squad for the conflict under sunlight at Adelaide beginning Thursday, where the pink ball’s extra activity should fit their game. 

England have announced a 12-man team and withheld from approving their final eleven. Despite the spectacle play at Brisbane, Root will have James Anderson and Stuart Broad fitting and available expecting to create some charm with the pink ball.

Mark Wood has been dumped out of England’s team for the second Test in Adelaide. Wood was impressed with his speed and surface in the first Test. But despite being considered fully fit, England have decided to rest him for the second match.

With Ben Stokes having confirmed himself in training over the last couple of days, the England management seems to feel they have the speed pitch shielded should it be needed.
