Afghanistan A wrote history by clinching a historic seven-wicket victory against Sri Lanka A, claiming their first major title with the ACC T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup title. Chasing a target of 134, Sediqullah Atal (55*) and Karim Janat (33) led the charge, guiding the team to victory. Sri Lanka A’s Sahan Arachchige was the standout performer with the bat, scoring 64*, but Bilal Sami (3/22) and Allah Ghazanfar (2/14) dismantled their batting lineup, leaving them at 133/7. Despite a shaky start, Afghanistan surged ahead, finishing at 134/3 in just 18.1 overs, with Mohammad Ishaq sealing the win with a boundary.
