Shane Warne’s body has been transported back to Australia, where he was born, from Thailand’s capital Bangkok. From Surat Thani province in the south of Thailand, the ambulance convoy and police drove overnight to Bangkok’s airport.

Thai authorities said they’ve been working very closely with Australian embassy in Thailand to speed up paperwork and processes to meet the family’s request.
Warne’s family also has accepted the offer of a state funeral following his sudden passing.
