English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur has congratulated Indian football team captain Sunil Chhetri for scoring 84 international goals by Hungarian legend Ferenc Puskas. Chhetri on Tuesday equaled Puskas’ record by scoring his second goal for India in the AFC Asian Cup qualifying match against Afghanistan. Sunil Chhetri scored the goal in this match in the 86th minute. He has occupied the fifth place among the highest goalscorers at the international level.

At the same time, Puskas scored 84 goals in 89 matches. The Hungarian player is considered one of the best footballers in the world.
