Steph Curry’ late strikes lift Warriors over Grizzlies

In the game against the Memphis Grizzlies, Steph Curry scored a game high of 32 points to spark a late comeback win for the Warriors.

The Grizzlies were well on top in the first 3 quarters in the game. They were going into the 4th quarter with a 7 point lead over the warriors.

Warriors had had a poor night, shooting only 24% of their shots. Fortunately for them, the Grizzlies could do no better. They scored with just 25% of their shots.

Going into half time, Grizzlies led the Warriors by 41-38. The absence of Ja Morant was felt as the game went on and the Grizzlies were unable to score and capitalize on the misses of the Warriors.

Till the 4th quarter, they had kept star Steph Curry quiet but come the fouth quarter, Curry burst into life.

18 off his 32 points came in the last quarter as the Warriors scripted a comeback win over the grizzlies. This win helped them take the series score to 3-1.

Warriors scored 39 points in the last quarter(more than what they’d scored in the first half) to win the match 101-98.

Without star player Ja Morant, the Memphis Grizzlies had a better start to the game. This was a must win game as they could’ve levelled the aggregate score 2-2. But, they let it slip.

There still is a tiny chance for the Grizzlies to win the western conference semi final series but, they’ll have to win the next 3 matches. Without their superstar Ja Morant, will it be possible?

Let’s find out on Wednesday, 12th May, when the two meet again for the 5th match.
