As mentioned below, Yuvraj Singh Sandhu has won 3 tournaments in a span of just 5 months.
How does it feel to win a tournament for the 3rd time in 5 months?
It is just the result of the hardwork done by me and my team. A big shoutout for my team, it would not have been possible to achieve this feat without them. Everything that I have done in the past 6 months, is a result of all of our efforts put together. The team has been doing things day in, day out for me, with me since the covid lockdown opened up. I am looking forward to bigger and better events, where I can make an impact at the global level.
What are your plans regarding the upcoming week, which includes the Delhi NCR Championship?
It is always exciting, coming back to Noida. It is a full field event. It is a great feeling coming back to Noida and playing a professional golf tournament. I have friends and families here, so I am looking forward to this event, where I will get a lot of warmth and support from my loved ones. It is truly exciting to be back here.
What would you like to advise the young golfers out there?
When I was growing up in Chandigarh, Milkha sir used to tell me that there is no shortcut to success. It is just hardwork all along. Anybody who is interested in golf as a career, needs to understand that there is nothing that comes without hardwork and discipline. It requires total commitment, staying at it all day long. That’s it, that’s the only mantra to succeed in golf as a professional. If you are determined, focussed and committed towards golf, you can do wonders in it.
Yuvraj Singh Sandhu will aim to be at his best for the forthcoming tournament in Noida.
