Sania Mirza beaten in the first round at her final Wimbledon

Wimbledon 2022: Sania Mirza loses in the first round of Women’s doubles.

Indian Tennis great Sania Mirza has made her final appearance at the famed Wimbledon in her women’s double defeat to Magdalena Frech and Beatriz Haddad Maia.

Sania and Lucic lost the tie 2 sets to 1. They lost the first set 4-6, before winning the second set 6-4 to take the match into the decider set.

Unfortunately, they lost the last set 6-2. This defeat meant it was the end of the legacy of Sania Mirza.

But, there is some hope for Sania, as she and Mate Pavic of Croatia will meet Natela Dzalamidze and David Vega Hernandez in the opening round of mixed doubles.
