Sachin Tendulkar turns 49 today, Cricketers wished him

Every fan is sending their best wishes for him as Sachin turns 49 today

If you ask anyone whether they follow cricket or not,  who is the god of cricket, you will get only one answer that is Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar because of his multiple records in cricket both bat and ball, all unmatched records make him “God of Cricket”. 

Sachin Tendulkar was born on April 24,1973 in Mumbai, he is considered as one of the greatest batsmen of all time.

His records are unbelievable as he has scored 15921 runs in 200 matches at an average of 53.8 in Test cricket, 

In ODI, he has played 463 matches and has scored 18426 runs at an average of 44.8.

In the shortest format of the game he has played 96 matches and scored 2797 eunds at an average of 32.9.

In IPL, he has played 78 matches and smashed 2334 runs at an average of 32.8.

In his test debut, he faced Pakistan on 15 november 1989.

He played his last test vs west indies on 14 november 2013.

Made his ODI debut on 18 december 1989, against pakistan.

Played his last ODI match on 18 March 2012 vs pakistan.

When he retired from international cricket his age was 37, he was at his peak.

Sachin’s record list is big some of them are-

IN 2010:

  1. He scored 618 runs in IPL, won the orange cap
  2. Scored most test runs- 1562 at 78.10 average
  3. Smashed 7 test hundreds.
  4. Became first player to score a double ton in men’s ODI

Many cricketers wished him on his 49th birthday.

Former cricketer Parthiv Patel congratulated Tendulkar and said, “Happy Birthday to the man @sachin_rt who is synonyms to Cricket. To the Legend that inspired millions and paved way for a legacy that continues to shine.”

Royal Challengers Bangalore wicket keeper-batter Dinesh Karthik tweeted, “There are greats, there are legends and then there is @sachin_rt. Wishing you a very happy birthday. #HappyBirthdaySachin.”

IPL Team Sunrisers Hyderabad posted a collage of pictures of Tendulkar and tweeted, “A benchmark for all batsmen who followed him, and an inspiration for generations to come. Happy Birthday, @sachin_rt.”

Mayank Agarwal posted an image of him with Tendulkar and tweeted, “Happy Birthday sachin_rt paaji! You are an inspiration… your humility is admirable, your guidance invaluable. It’s always a pleasure to spend time with you and learn more about the game.”
