Rohit Sharma has congratulated Virat Kohli on his successful stint as the Indian Test captain for 7 long years. It is notable that Virat Kohli announced his decision to step down as India’s Test captain on Saturday via social media post, a day after India lost the three-match Test series to South Africa away from home.
Virat came up with a social media post on Saturday stating that he didn’t feel that he would continue leading the same way that he has done for the last 7 years and thus, it is time for him to move on. BCCI dignitaries also informed that it was Virat’s personal decision to step down and no one from the board had forced him to do so.
Rohit took to Instahram on Sunday and wrote, “Shocked!! But congratulations on a successful stint as Indian captain. आगे के लिए बहुत बहुत शुभकामनाएँ @virat.kohli”
