Marcelo Bielsa leaves Leeds United after poor set of results

Leeds United have been on their poorest run of form lately in the Premier League under manager Marcelo Bielsa. The club have decided to part ways with the legendary Argentine manager who helped the Leeds team to get promotion to the top flight and also helped them get a ninth-place finish in the league last year.

However, the club has only picked up a single point from the last six games. The club has also been struck by bad luck in terms of absentees due to injury which has shown an instant impact on the club’s set of results lately. Bielsa is more or less likely to leave the club in the coming days after suffering another heavy 4-0 defeat by the hands of Tottenham Hotspurs on Saturday.

Leeds currently have the worst defence in the league and have conceded a massive 60 goals in 26 games and currently sits two points above the relegation zone with a terrible goal difference of -30. The last 10 goals conceded by them have come in just their last two games which include a 6-0 thrashing at Anfield by Liverpool and a 4-0 home defeat by Tottenham Hotspurs.
