In the last match, the team was defeated by Rajasthan Royals. The bowlers of Lucknow Super Giants defended the score of just 169 runs in which Avesh played an important role. His final and 18th over of the innings was crucial in which he took two wickets of Nicholas Pooran and Abdul Samad. Jason Holder (3 for 34) took three wickets in the last over.
