Indian Test Skipper Failed Again

Virat Kohli’s wretched run with the bat resumed in the second innings as the Indian Test skipper was sent to the pavilion after chasing a ball outside the off-stump again. Moreover, Kohli was booted on the first ball after lunch as he flung his bat for a cover shot. Debutant Marco Jansen took the great wicket of Kohli.

Virat Kohli went after a wide delivery from Marco Jansen in the very first ball after lunch on Day 4 after gaining a concrete opening in the first session. The India skipper slipped for 18 from 32 balls as a wide edge opportunity was nicely grabbed by wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock.

Arriving at the game, South Africa hold down India in the first session on Day 4 of the first Test game at the SuperSport Park, Centurion on Wednesday.

India lost Thakur, the nightwatchman, KL Rahul, before Kohli’s exit this morning. India’s head up is now more than 250 runs. Nevertheless, the guests have lost six wickets.

On Tuesday, India lost Mayank Agarwal at the point of the stumps but the guests still finished Day three of the first Test in the dominant seat. India had wrapped out South Africa for 197 in the third innings before the hosts took Mayank’s wicket minutes before the end of the play.
