KKR in a do or die tie in the race for the IPL playoffs

IPL 2022: Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants faceoff against each other in the 66th match of the TATA IPL 2022 on Wednesday, here in Mumbai.

IPL 2022: Kolkata Knight Riders had a bad run of games in the middle of the tournament, but they are still fighting till the end to keep their playoff hopes alive. KKR are 6th on the table, with 6 wins and 7 losses. Shreyas Iyer’s side are coming into this game with a string of good results in their previous matches. Out of their last 4 matches, KKR have won three. Their morale will be high but they also need to win this game by a big margin so that their net run rate is better than other teams. It is going to be a knockout for KKR.

Lucknow Super Giants are third on the table and they just need a win to confirm their berth in the playoffs. Although, it is not going to be easy as LSG are having a bad patch and lost their last two matches. KL Rahul would be looking to win this game comprehensively, to go to the playoffs with a morale boost. Lucknow has had a fantastic season till now and would like to continue that form till the last match of the tournament.
