The ODI series between India women’s and New Zealand women’s in New Zealand has been rescheduled because the host board wants to give the two teams extra time in between games.
The New Zealand Cricket announced a revised schedule for the ODI series, with the first ODI taking place on February 12, one day later than initially planned. The second ODI, which was scheduled for February 14, has also been pushed back a day to February 15, and the third ODI has been rescheduled for February 18, rather than February 16.
The dates of the final two matches, which will be remained unchanged and will be played on February 22 and 24.
The two countries will begin their limited-overs series with a T20I on February 9, followed by five ODIs, which will be essential ahead of the 50-over Women’s World Cup, which will begin in March in New Zealand.
Last month, all the matches were relocated to John Davies Oval in Queenstown to avoid travel and the risk of a Covid-19.
“The date of the first KFC T20I remains the same but there have been some adjustments made to the subsequent five match KFC ODI series,” a statement from NZC read.
