Game in balance as Pakistan see out the third session.

Pakistan bat out 3rd session to end the second day at 90/1.

Pakistan VS Australia: The third test match is equally poised with both team. Pakistan trail by 301 runs in their first innings. They have 9 wickets in hand.

Australia added to their overnight score as Alex Carey and Cameron Green stitched a 100+ run partnership.

The two batsmen found runs easy to come by. A splendid 154 run partnership came to an end after AlexCarey was adjudged to be out LBW to Nauman Ali.

Cameron Greens fantastic innings came to an end, when he was dismissed bowled by a brilliant ball by Naseem Shah.

Australia’s tail enders helped the score to 391 before being bowled out. Shaheen Afridi dismissed Mitchell Swepson, clean bowled to finish with the figures of – 4/79 in his 24.3 overs.

Pakistan batsmen started off at a slow pace. They were 19/0 after 10 overs.

Soon, Australian Pat Cummins struck. Imam – ul – Haq was caught standing at the crease. Imam chose not to review the call, a wise decision in hindsight as the ball would go on to hit the leg stump. Pakistan lost their first wicket for 20 runs.

The Australia captain was bowling a great spell as he put the pressure on the Pakistan batsmen.

Australia reviewed an LBW shout against Azhar Ali. Unfortunately for the visitors, the ball was going past the leg stump. A somewhat wasteful review.

Pakistan ended the day at 90/1, 301 runs behind the Aussies. At the end of day 2, still nothing much to separate between the two teams.

Odds of winning the match for both teams are same – 18%.

With the game still in balance, only something special can change the tone of the series, otherwise we will see a 3rd draw in a row.
