Exclusive interview with FAUDA star and Yoga enthusiast Tsahi Halevi

Israeli series ‘FAUDA‘ fame Tsahi Halevi is visiting India to commemorate the 30-year long establishment of diplomatic ties between India and Israel.

The diplomatic relationship between the two countries commenced on 29 January 1992. Earlier this year, a commemorative logo to celebrate the same was launched on the 30th anniversary of bilateral relations. The launched logo featured the Ashoka Chakra and the Star of David forming the numeral 30, indicating the three long decades of India and Israel’s diplomatic ties.

Speaking to Sports Trumpet, Tsahi spoke about the strong bond shared by the two countries, the sports he has followed and a brief description of his super hit series, FAUDA.

The star actors reveals that it was his dream to visit India once.

” I am very very excited to finally get a chance to come to India. Since many years, I have dreamt of visiting India but, never had the opportunity, till now. I thank God and thank both the countries for having such a friendship, that has existed over 30 years. Salvation of the 74th Independence Day of Israel has given me the opportunity to finally come here. This is just a short trip but, I am looking to come back soon in the near future. I can feel an Indian within me. You’ll are a very humble, peaceful warm people and I feel attached to this”

As for Sports, the Israeli star has competed at the national level in swimming, football. He is also a big fan of Yoga.

“Yoga is something that I have been practicing a lot. But as for sports as a whole, I am not a fan. You would think that a person like me would be interested in sports but, sitting at a place, watching a sport does not intrigue me. Although, I do have a background in sports. I have participated in Swimming for many years, at the national level. I’ve also played some football, some baseball and martial arts.”

Tsahi then speaks about his series, giving us a brief insight on the series.

There are many conflicts among people internationally and if you touch the human aspect in the conflict, people can feel attached to it. Everyone in the world faces conflict. Once you are shown the human’s point of view, everyone can relate to it. In general FAUDA talks shows the human aspect, the humanity and the different colors that exist in this conflict.”
