Delhi Capitals Squad 2023 : The Delhi Capitals have never been to the IPL finals. They came in fifth place the previous year and lost in the 2020 finals. The majority of the Capitals’ team was retained, and their goal at the auction was to fine-tune their squad balance in preparation for the upcoming season.

Delhi Capitals Purse in the IPL 2023 Auction:

The starting bid for DC was INR 19.45 crore. There were only 5 open slot, 1 of which was an overseas slot.

During the IPL Auction 2023, DC paid INR 5.50 Crore for the young fast bowler Mukesh Kumar. The bowler, who is 29 years old, was selected for the ODI Series against South Africa but was unable to play. The pacer’s first IPL deal was signed in 2015, far before his first-class debut.

Mukesh Kumar might be effective in the middle innings since he is highly disciplined with his line and length and not only has the ability to fool the batsmen with his variations. Because of his medium pace and potential harm to the squad, captain Rishabh Pant will need to use caution while playing him.
