CSK Squad 2023 Update : After much excitement, the auction processes began in Kochi, which was hosting it for the first time ever, and several well-known individuals scored enormous deals. Ben Stokes, an all-rounder and Test captain for England, was purchased by the MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings in an auction held in Kochi (CSK).

With INR 20.45 crores, the CSK franchise joined the auction pool (INR 204.5 million). CSK, a franchise that always sticks to its core and chooses a small number of players in the auction, was prepared this time around.

They arrived with a predetermined strategy and included players like Ajinkya Rahane, Stokes, Kyle Jamieson, uncapped players Shaik Rasheed and Nishant Sindhu, as well as the requirement to complete seven places (including two foreign players).

Despite not being able to re-sign Sam Curran, CSK has put up a fantastic team with numerous all-rounders after the IPL 2023 auction (who went to the Punjab Kings for INR 18.5 crores).
