Indian star badminton player PV Sindhu failed the final of the BWF World Tour Finals to South Korea’s An Seyoung in a decent match 21-16 21-12. Sindhu began carefully as provided an immediate benefit to the South Korean as the former missed the first match 16-21.
Sindhu battled back in the late stages of the opening game but the South Korean star didn’t miss her center as she closed the match with a shocking blow. In the second game, Sindhu met her opponent toe-to-toe but missed her standing after the mid-break to finally lose the next game and the match.
The teen badminton player soon increased her head to 10-6 as she was ruthless in the rallies, giving everything back to Sindhu. A sharp-edged return on her opponent’s previous gave her an 11-8 lead at the rest.
After the interim, An Seyoung extended to check the actions, jumping to a 15-8 point with different excellent full dive returns. In a second, An Seyoung took a huge 10 match point. Sindhu kept two before throwing one to the net as the Korean celebrated.
In Earlier events, Sindhu had succeeded a strong competition in the semi-finals where she had taken down Akane Yamaguchi of Japan 21-15 15-21 21-19. Sindhu had conquered the trophy three years back in 2018 and this match was the Indian shuttler’s third final appearance in the season-ending competition.
