Recce is a short for reconnaissance. It is a military term, that means – military observation of a region to locate an enemy or ascertain strategic features.

As a result, security has been increased around the stadium and the hotel.

Anti Terrorist Squad members have said that no vehicle can be parked on the route leading to the stadium, while going and returning.

The staff involved in driving the players to and from the stadium, will remain the same. A thorough background check of the staff will be done, before assigning them the role.

The bus will be properly sanitized everytime the players travel using it.

Thorough inspection of the bus will be done, before the players board it.

A marksman vehicle will accompany the bus when it is going to and coming from the stadium.

Anti Terrorist Squad will have a marksman vehicle and a combat van will alongside the team bus.

In case of an emergency, there will be additional exit points created from where the player can escape safely.

The players will not get any gifts from the players. The team manager will check whether the gift is proper or not and then decide to pass on the gift to the player.

Only those personnel who have a verified ID card will be allowed to be on the floor where the players are residing.

The ID of the staff will be verified everyday.

No one will be able to enter the rooms of the players and the team manager.

A record will be kept of all those who are on the floor/ room of the players.

This is the advisory that has been provided by the anti terrorist squad and Mumbai Police for the upcoming IPL 2022.
